GATS Vanuatu has been established to provide training for members of the U.P.C.I. VANUATU who wish to become ministers of the gospel, evangelists, missionaries, and Sunday School teachers and efficient lay workers.

Operating as an 'across borders' training facility 'the UPCIV is blessed to be the Vanuatu branch of 'Global Association of Theological Studies', the worldwide academic institution used by United Pentecostal Church International, offering rewards issued by "Global University of Theological Studies'.

The final objective is the Christian Worker, in whatever field his/her calling lies, efficiently trained for the propagation of the Gospel. Some important secondary objectives which arise from general purpose of G.A.T.S.V are:
1. To train the young student in a disciplined Christian life, leading him into deeper spiritual. understanding of the things of God
2. To lead the student to a degree of maturity and seriousness necessary for the ministry.
3. To cultivate in the student a love for the study and research in Bible subjects.
4. To develop in the student a spirit of evangelism and soul winning, as it is the desire of the school that every student, faculty and
staff member be effective for Christ.

Information
Class Structure 2024
- For 2024, we are offering Two levels of study. Certificate and Diploma (we plan for Associate in 2025). Each of these has the previous level as prerequisite. If you have not completed certificate, then that is your first course, then Diploma and then Associate Degree.
- Certificate course is 150 hours of study and is run at several campus locations around Vanuatu.
- Diploma and Associate Degree courses are both run at A.C.T.S.II campus in Port Vila and are Full time Day Classes five days per week. This enables the student to finish their diploma in 2 years and the degree in three years of study
- NIGHT CLASSES are also available three days per week (Tues. Wed. Thurs.) from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. The diploma takes three years to complete doing night classes only and the Associate degrees is another three years after that if desired.
- FULL-TIME DAY STUDENTS can do all three levels at the Port Vila campus. Those only wanting Diploma, will complete it in two years. Those wanting associate degree, will take four years (THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE 2024).
- NIGHT STUDENTS will need to have completed the certificate course on one of our satellite campuses OR during the day at the Port Vila campus. Studying via night classes takes three years for the diploma and another three years for the associate degree.
- We have a ROLLING ENROLLMENT model, that enables students to enroll for certain courses at flexible times. You will need to contact the College for more information if you are interested in enrolling.
